In Search of Hope: Philosophers in the Third Reich

I am currently writing a new book, In Search of Hope: Philosophers in the Third Reich. This book tells the stories of philosophers (including Karl Jaspers, Hannah Arendt, and Viktor Frankl) who heroically opposed the Nazi régime, showing how these thinkers’ lives embodied their ideas. It evokes a world in which philosophy could be a matter of life or death and illustrates that these stories embody valuable philosophies of hope for the present day.
